Shell Bay Beach Studland

When you take the ferry from Sandbanks to Studland you will see Shell Bay Beach directly to your left. The beach is at the tip of Studland Peninsula (see map below) is managed by the National Trust, who love to keep things exactly how they were like in the 1950s – much to the annoyance of the people who actually live there. This means the area is pretty much unspoilt and free from commercialism and a great place for visitors who are looking for a more relaxing break. You won’t find loads of shops and ice-cream kiosks here.

Shell Bay Beach is at the entrance to Poole Harbour to you’ll see plenty of boats passing by. You’ll also get great views of Brownsea Island and across to Sandbanks.

This is a National Trust car park so it’s FREE to park for National Trust members (see membership prices).
