Avon Beach is a lovely sandy beach offering gentle slope into the sea. Good facilities include a Cafe, restaurant (The Noisy Lobster), beach shop and toilets. Lifeguard service during July and August. There is a designated waterspouts zone in front of the car park so ideal if you want to bring a kayak, paddleboard or windsurfer. The beach is also just a few minutes walk from Mudeford Quay.
Avon Beach Car Park is conveniently situated next to the beach just off the Mudeford Road at BH23 4AN (Google map). It’s only a small car park and often full. Alternative parking can be found at the Avon Run Road Car Park BH23 4DU (Google map) or on-road parking can be found anywhere along the Avon Run Road or in the nearby residential streets.
