Corfe Castle

Lulworth Castle

Sherborne Castle
Sherborne Castle was built by Sir Walter Raleigh in the late sixteenth century beside the ruins of the earlier medieval castle. The castle is surrounded by landscaped gardens and a large ornamental lake.
Sherborne Old Castle
Sherborne Old Castle is the impressive ruin of a twelfth-century fortified palace built by the Bishop of Salisbury. The atmospheric remains stand beside a moat and played a significant role during the English Civil War.
Highcliffe Castle
Highcliffe Castle is a romantic nineteenth-century mansion overlooking Christchurch Bay. Built in a Gothic Revival style using stone from medieval French monasteries, the restored building now hosts exhibitions and events.
