You can see the steps down to the beach on the left hand side. The Isle of Portland can be seen on the horizon (to the left) and Weymouth (to the right).

Man O’ War Bay has become more popular over the last few fews since access to the beach has improved. The steep steps leading down from the headland are often in better condition than the steps leading down to Durdle Door on the other side. The natural bay comprises white sand and fine pebbles and on a calm day the aquamarine water is crystal clear and perfect for paddling, swimming and snorkelling.

There is only one car park nearby. It’s the same car park as Durdle Door.
This is the path leading down from the car park.
The wide path leading to the left out of the picture takes you to Lulworth Cove and takes about 40 minutes.
